Our new museum education programme takes you on a magical journey with an explorer backpack. We will discover with the children the secrets of the Mikó Castle, make observations, do research and solve exciting puzzles, while getting closer to the world of Mikó Ferenc, the builder of the castle, and the Szekler border guard soldiers. In each part of the exhibition, new tasks await us and the exhibits tell us about the hidden secrets of the past.

The experience and knowledge is enhanced by the workbooks in the backpacks, which are designed for two age groups: one for 6-9 year olds and the other for 10-13 year olds.  These workbooks allow participants to explore the history of the Mikó Castle in a way that is appropriate for their age group, and to take the knowledge they have gained back home to continue their exploration at home or in class. All brave adventurers are welcome!

Sessions will be held in Hungarian.
