The exhibition One and Multiple, presented in the centenary year of the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca, explores the diversity of printmaking and its role in artistic experimentation, conceptual thinking and visual communication. The exhibition brings together works by former and current professors and students of the Graphic Arts Department, as well as artists trained in Cluj, featuring techniques ranging from etching and lithography to woodcut, screen printing and linocut.
The exhibition also draws on the university’s Graphic Arts Department archive, established in the 1960s and containing a significant collection of prints, drawings, posters and photographs.
